There once was a peculiar octopus. One who was very much intrigued by humans and was, for awhile, wise enough to only catch an glance at their daily activities from a considerable distance. But he became so intrigued that he was determined to get a closer look. But getting too close damaged him when he came next to a fisherman's boat.
As the fisherman turned the engines, the poor octopus caught one of his legs in the propellers, but managed to escape before more harm was caused. The octopus now had only seven legs to swim with and he was greatly saddened by this. But this hasn't affected his want to examine the humans from a distance. One day, he noticed a young boy with a prosthetic leg made of wood! The octopus was amazed at how humans managed to survive even when something as valuable ad their legs is gone! The octopus thought to himself. "Why can't I have a prostetic leg myself?" So he made another daring move. The octopus made his way to land, this time, avoiding humans and boats all together. He found a small warehouse with tools and wood. He's watched fishermen come into that very warehouse to make their fishing poles or a few other wooden made items. So he went inside, made his plans, and went to work. When he heard a noise of someone coming towards the warehouse, he would quickly evade them and make it into the ocean without being spotted. Soon, after a few weeks and many accidental cuts on his tentacles were made, he was finally finished with his new leg. Trying it on his stump where his old leg used to be, it fit perfectly! But when he made his way into the water, the leg refused to go down further than the surface and kept him from swimming further! He tried and tried to get it down, but it was no use. The octopus finally had to give up and take the leg off. There was no way he could survive with that leg on. The octopus still has only seven legs today. But he gets along fine without his eighth. He still watches the humans time to time and greatly wishes to one day be in their presence. To join them in their fun activities. He did meet his dream when he was caught and sent to an Aquarium. Where instead of being the beholder, he became the one to behold. ~The End~ Just a stupid story i thought up just now to fit this Picture. I originally created it when I was at my friend I refused to do anything "Hentai" related, so this popped into my head. I hope you enjoy the story and the drawing! I wanted this to be my last drawing until I got back from my dad's home. Comments
you know what ive noticed?
all of your pictures make me pee myself. this octopus is ADORABLE. i plan on getting a tattoo of an octopus on my 16th birthday, and now i think you should draw it for me cause im too lazy. anyways, i love how you drew his character. the "cartoon" look makes him so much more cuter <3 i love the texture you gave him too. and the fact that hes purpleee. :'D i also like his eye colorr. ive noticed you worked really hard on the background too. like how the window and hole in the wall's light changes where the shadows are and such. i like how you colored the wood too[: AND THE MOUSIIEE he can fit through the holee! im rambling, arent i? erhem. if you really did write that story, ma'am, ive gatta say, you're one hell of a writer. -- common sense is a thing a lot of people lack now-a-days. avatar by: [link] TL;DR
just kidding. Your comments are also so long and I love reading them. : D A writer? Pssssssha Sometimes I like writing if I'm in the mood. :> But for someone to actually think I'm good at writing baffles me. heh But it's WONDERFUL that my drawings make you loose control of your bladder. I strive to do that with each drawing I make. : D hur I would love to draw a tattoo for ya! It would be meh pleasure, dearie. :> Oh man. The octopus himself didn't take very long. Everything else took almost three days in total to finish up. gah But thank you so much for your wonderful comments! Ramble and ramble because I fo sho will read it all! :] -- Artists are like Snowflakes. No Two are alike. Unless you trace. Only twats do though, not artists, so this doesn't apply to them. |
